LEICESTER have booked Grand Prix star Dan Bewley for a guest appearance in tonight’s home crucial clash with King’s Lynn (8pm).
Bewley comes in for the Watling JCB Lions with Richard Lawson ruled out after his crash at Redcar on Sunday evening.
The Lions will again operate rider replacement for Craig Cook who is also absent, with three points a must as they bid to get their play-off bid back on track.
They went down to a 61-29 defeat at Belle Vue at lunchtime in a meeting which saw Max Fricke pick up their only race win in Heat 15, inflicting the only defeats of the day on Brady Kurtz and Bewley.
Jaimon Lidsey scored a four-ride maximum for the Aces, with Fricke (10) and guest Chris Harris (8) contributing the majority of the Lions’ total.
